There is nothing as frustrating as missing an opportunity for a great shot. Most photographers have missed an opportunity for a great photo mostly because they weren’t prepared for it or as a result of the timing.
Here are some ways to make sure you never miss a chance for a photo:
Get an easy access camera bag
You should get a camera bag that allows you to get your camera out quickly. If you have to struggle for too long with a complicated bag, you will miss your next shot. Get a camera bag that is designed with quick access flaps.
Have an extra battery
Sometimes you forget how long you’ve been using a particular battery and if it runs down, it can be really disappointing especially at that moment you want to use it. Having an extra battery in hand will be a lifesaver.
Clean your lens
There will be chances of spots on your photos if your camera lens is not properly cleaned. If spots appear on your images, that will result in lost data because you can’t recapture that moment again but you can probably repair the damage with a healing brush or cloning. Cleaning the front and rear of your lens will allow you to use the original photo without having to do extra editing work to deal with spots.
Check that your CF cards have enough storage space
You should check your storage capacity before taking your camera anywhere. Downloading and clearing cards every time you take your camera out will allow you enough space for more photos.
